Franciacorta Brut Cuvée Royale – Tenuta Montenisa | Marchesi Antinori

The Franciacorta Brut Cuvée Royale from Tenuta Montenisa , owned by Marchesi Antinori , embodies the elegance and tradition of the Italian classic method. It is a refined, harmonious, and well-balanced sparkling wine, with a bright straw yellow color and a fine, persistent perlage . On the nose, it opens with notes of white flowers, green apple, citrus, and bread crust , with subtle nuances of hazelnut and toasted almond. On the palate, it is fresh, creamy, and balanced , with a pleasant minerality and a long, delicately citrusy finish.

Winemaking Method

Produced according to the classic method , Cuvée Royale is born from a skillful selection of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc , sourced from the Tenuta Montenisa vineyards in the heart of Franciacorta. After gentle pressing , fermentation takes place in stainless steel at a controlled temperature , preserving freshness and aromatic finesse. The second fermentation in the bottle is followed by aging on the lees for approximately 36 months , which gives it complexity, creaminess, and depth of flavor.

Conservation and Maturation

Store horizontally in a cool, dark, and dry place . Serve at 8–10°C to best enhance the liveliness and silkiness of the perlage. The wine maintains its optimal characteristics for 4–5 years after bottling.
