Perfume
On the nose, it opens with a rich and deep bouquet, dominated by notes of ripe red fruit, such as cherries and plums, accompanied by more mature nuances of black fruit jam. These are overlaid with delicate sensations of sweet spices, such as vanilla and black pepper, complemented by hints of tobacco and leather, a testament to the oak aging. A light touch of chocolate and a hint of aromatic herbs further enrich the aromatic profile.
Taste
On the palate, the 2013 Aglianico Riserva Cobellis is characterized by a solid and well-balanced structure, with soft and silky tannins that give the wine a remarkable smoothness. The acidity is fresh and lively, helping maintain the overall balance. The finish is long, persistent, and pleasantly spicy, with a light mineral note that evokes the typical characteristics of the Cilento terroir.
