Carruades de Lafite 2016 is a wine of sweet contrasts with a strong flavour. A summer drought put an important water strain on the vines until veraison, making maturation longer than usual. Fortunately, the rains of 13 September and hot, dry weather until the harvest allowed for perfect ripening, giving Lafite-Rothschild's Carruades a robust sweetness.
