The Vermentino of Sardinia Costamolin della Cantina Argiolas was born in vineyards located on the gentle slopes of Pranu Sturru-Suelli and Perda Campus-Selegas.
It is produced with Vermentino grapes, strictly hand-picked during the early hours of the morning and carefully selected. After a soft pressing, the juice is cooled with natural decantation, then fermented for about 20 days at a controlled temperature of 16 - 18°C. The wine rests at a controlled temperature with a brief stop on the fine lees before being bottled.
It is characterized by a straw yellow color with slight greenish reflections. The bouquet is subtle, intense and delicate, with pleasant floral notes. The taste is fresh and dry, pleasantly dry and savory; overall it is a delicate and fine wine.
Perfect to accompany seafood appetizers, shellfish, fish-based dishes and fish soups, it is ideal in combination with medium-aged cheeses.
