Gaia & Rey is a Langhe Doc wine from Gaja & Rey that combines two vineyards in the Barbaresco and Barolo areas: Treiso (1979) and Serralunga d'Alba (1989). The Chardonnay variety gives a remarkable structure and acidity to the wine: this is tasty with a high concentration of complex flavours. The reduced yield (30hl/ha) is obtained with a higher planting density (5,500 feet/hectare) as a guarantee of quality.
