Description

The 2008 Barolo "Brunate" from Oddero winery (1.5L MAGNUM) is produced in one of the highest-altitude municipalities of the Barolo DOCG, from a vineyard of less than one hectare in the famous Brunate cru. This exceptional Barolo is complex, with a well-balanced mineral smoothness and an intense, persistent bouquet of aromas.

Winemaking

Fermentation and maceration for approximately 25 days, at a controlled temperature of approximately 28°C.

Refinement

Aged in 20-hl French oak barrels for approximately 30 months. Bottling in late summer, the wine ages further in the bottle for a year before being released for sale.

Intense notes of rose and violet, accompanied by a hint of wet earth and ripe red fruits.

Taste

Very long, yet sweet tannins speak of an evolution that will be completed much further in time.
