Allegrini's Amarone della Valpolicella La Groletta is a wine with an intense and decisive flavour, obtained from Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grapes carefully selected by hand from vineyards located on the Venetian hills of Fumane. After a controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine ages for 5 months in the same containers, followed by 15 months in wood and 6 months in the bottle, producing rich and intense aromas.

Refinement | Aging for 5 months in stainless steel, maturation in wood for 15 months (half in Slavonian oak barrels, half in second passage barriques), 6 months of aging in the bottle. |
Color | Ruby red of excellent intensity, almost opaque. |
Perfume | Overripe red fruit but still crunchy and pulpy. Spicy notes appear in the background, especially pepper and cloves, followed by mineral hints and a deep tobacco nuance. |
Taste | Full, enveloping and velvety. The body, imposing and solid, manages to maintain an elegant and silky profile thanks to the perfect and balanced acidity, sweet and perfectly blended tannins. |
