The 2006 Rosso di Montalcino DOCG is a medium-bodied wine with intense aromas of red fruits and light spicy notes. The taste is harmonious, smooth, and persistent, perfectly expressing the Sangiovese grosso grown in the unique terroir of Montalcino.
Production and Refinement Method
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature to preserve freshness and aroma. Aged for approximately 12 months in oak barrels, followed by a brief bottle aging before release.
Storage and Consumption Methods
Store in a cool, dark place at a stable temperature of around 14-16°C. The ideal serving temperature is between 16-18°C. It pairs well with roast meats, aged cheeses, and traditional Tuscan dishes. This wine is best enjoyed at least 3-5 years after harvest.
