The history of Grattamacco is linked to its foundation in 1977 by Piermario Meletti Cavallari in Bolgheri, Tuscany, and is known for being the second oldest winery in the Bolgheri DOC. The company was acquired in 2002 by Claudio Tipa , owner of Collemassari , maintaining the continuity of the work carried out previously. Grattamacco produces red wines, including Bolgheri Rosso Superiore, and a Bolgheri Bianco from Vermentino , as well as a grappa.
